Un grande manager ha definito la crisi economica di questi anni come la “crisi del cambiamento”.Le aziende che hanno cambiato l’approccio al mercato, informatizzato i processi aziendali, rinnovato la propria struttura aziendale, formato i dipendenti e informato i loro clienti, supereranno la crisi e saranno proiettate verso una crescita esponenziale in termini di fatturato e redditività. Quindi i tempi sono decisamente cambiati: non c’è più margine per una gestione dell’impresa “fai da te”. Occorre professionalità, strategie e programmazione. Questo aspetto particolare ancora non viene colto a pieno dalla miriade di micro e piccole imprese che operano nel nostro territorio e si trovano anche a convivere con i problemi legati al passaggio generazionale, che rappresenta una spada di Damocle pronta a compromettere la vita dell’impresa. Tutte queste problematiche si riflettono anche sulle imprese che operano nel settore dell’installazione e manutenzione di impianti ascensori (imprese ascensoristiche), costituite da quei tecnici che, dopo aver maturato una ampia esperienza presso le grandi multinazionali del settore e grazie al loro spirito d’iniziativa, hanno deciso di mettersi in proprio e, nel tempo, di trasmettere ai figli l’azienda e il loro know-how. Così è nata la “generazione degli ex concessionari”, cioè tutte quelle aziende che nel tempo sono cresciute in termini di fatturato e dipendenti, seguendo le orme delle multinazionali ricalcando e carpendo parte delle loro strategie. Ma oggi le regole del mercato sono cambiate: la deregulation ha influito notevolmente e, tali cambiamenti, possono produrre effetti devastanti se non si è adeguatamente preparati. L’imprenditore che vive questo momento di congiuntura e si trova alla soglia del passaggio generazionale, spesso, non è preparato a gestire questa fase di vita dell’azienda ed il “ fai da te” non è sufficiente. Come non serve dire al figlio successore “ho fatto sempre così , mi sono trovato bene, fai come ti dico io e andiamo avanti”, ma, occorre programmare con professionisti del settore questa transizione aziendale, preparare adeguatamente il successore e, nel caso in cui non fosse adatto, trovare all’interno dell’azienda o all’esterno, una figura di fiducia in grado di condurre l’azienda. La proprietà dell’azienda si trasferisce ma la sua gestione no. Infatti l’80% delle imprese non supera il passaggio generazionale e molte di esse si trovano costrette a cedere alle proposte di acquisizione delle multinazionali del settore.
